We’re currently seeking an experienced Ecommerce Director to join our ever-growing team. This position is responsible for employing both a tactical and strategic approach to ensure an exceptional online consumer experience, while serving as an active team contributor in driving overall growth and profitability. This role has ownership for all online store functionalities including the proper management and display of product assets, internal functioning of site tools, and proactively working across various teams to support the continuous improvement of the look, feel, and performance that our customers have come to recognize and expect. 

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years demonstrated success within a mid-level to senior ECommerce/Marketing role with a high degree of collaboration with cross-functional teams. They fully understand and can masterfully carry out the science of creating and maintaining a robust ecommerce site, while appreciating and remaining fully committed to the unique marketing, design, and site development aspects of Cat5. This includes partnering with Purchasing, Design, Marketing, and Executive team members on content-related SEO efforts, paid search channels, and curating the ultimate B2C experience. 


  • Lead Ecommerce team to manage site products and content including the configuration, adding/removal or editing of product items; copy and images proofing; key words and cross-sells, along with executing site refreshes according to schedule and as needed
  • Ensure brand consistency and presence on all digital products from planning to design/build/test to successful launch
  • Proactively manage site personalization and online storefront optimization through technology and tools to enhance customer engagement
  • Establish KPIs and leverage an analytics-driven approach contributing to driving online sales
  • Execute A/B testing to optimize site performance and oversee continuous quality assurance and analysis measures
  • Attend regular planning meetings to develop a clear understanding of brand positioning and how to translate to optimized website performance 
  • Partner with Digital Marketing on content-related SEO efforts 
  • Provide leadership through setting the strategy, creating outcome-driven frameworks, aligning priorities and managing operating tools that drive efficient and highly productive processes within the Ecommerce team 
  • Identify seasonal strategies for web content and new features and functionality


  • Minimum of five years experience within ecommerce or digital marketing management, or related field, thorough understanding of online retail 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, operations, information technology or related field
  • Prior experience and current working knowledge of digital marketing strategy and the ability to turn data into marketing recommendations
  • Proven managerial experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Superb critical thinking and problem solving skills 
  • Articulate, engaging and persuasive communication style 
  • Ability to set strategy, prioritize tasks and meet competing demands in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to adapt communication style to a variety of audiences and situations
