Position

We’re currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Customer Relations team. This is the perfect opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced customer service provider to take their next steps into management.

Duties

  • Carefully reviewing complex customer requests and inquiries presented by our Customer Relations Associates for consideration/escalation
  • Thinking on one's feet with the ability to assess and determine a path to successfully reconcile customer service issues within the moment when feasible
  • Analysis and successful resolution of complicated customer service scenarios
  • Troubleshooting requests by conducting research across various customer databases
  • Building customer relationships by communicating via email in a timely, polite and helpful manner
  • Creating effective resolutions and best possible outcomes for our customers; providing accurate and helpful answers to inquiries which leave no room for confusion
  • Maintaining an orderly workflow according to priorities
  • Train, supervise, and develop Customer Relations Associates - cultivate a supportive environment conducive to learning and development, individual problem solving and empowerment
  • Assist with the development of various processes and procedures
  • Accurately enter and update information across a variety of systems

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years proven experience within an customer service or retail assistant manager or manager role, or
  • 2-4 years customer service experience with increasing responsibility or specialization
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of Google Apps, customer service software, databases and tools
  • Team contributor mindset who works consistently to champion, meet and exceed team goals, and
  • Individual contributor who successfully manages their day to day work independently
  • Regular attendance and punctuality

Major Pluses

  • Prior customer service or retail experience
  • Familiarity with the online shopping process and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP software
